Queer Sober Therapy acknowledges that our Chicago and Oak Park offices are located on the ancestral and traditional homelands of Indigenous peoples who have lived in relationship with this land since time immemorial, including the Council of Three Fires, the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations, as well as other Indigenous peoples with deep and enduring ties to the Chicago region. We recognize that Indigenous communities are not only part of this land’s history, but remain present and vital today. We offer this acknowledgment as one small part of an ongoing responsibility to learn, honor Indigenous sovereignty, and support the communities whose lands we occupy.
